Rack decking mesh is a mesh support panel laid on rack beams, replacing wood or steel plates for storage. There are three main installation methods: direct overlap, clip fixing and bolt fixing; the choice depends on the rack model, load and whether removability is needed.

Overlap is the most common: the mesh's folded edges on both sides rest directly on the beams, located by self-weight and friction. Fastest to install and remove, it suits medium racks and light-to-medium loads. The downside is it can be lifted when forking goods, and may shift sideways under off-center load, so check position periodically.

The clip method welds U-shaped clips to both sides of the mesh, hooking the underside of the beam to stop the mesh being lifted by fork tines or shifting sideways; this is the recommended approach for medium and heavy racks. Install by first laying the mesh, then pressing each clip into place; on acceptance, shake by hand — tight and immovable means passing.

Bolt fixing is used for heavy racks and high-bay stores: the mesh and beam are locked with bolts or special clamps, giving the best anti-seismic and anti-displacement behavior; the downside is slow assembly and the need to wrench bolts for repair. Tongnuo supplies clips or bolts matched to beam height and hole spacing when making decking mesh, so it installs straight on arrival.

Installation key points: mesh width must match the beam inner width, with gaps no more than 5 mm; the overlapping edge must rest fully on the beam, never overhanging; all four corners of each layer must clip in place; after installation, run a stacking test — press 200 kg and shake for 5 minutes; the mesh must not slide down or shift sideways to pass.
